Sam Schlanger is a graduate of the University of Florida, class of 1980. 

Sam has lived in Houston since 1980. He and his wife, Terry, reside in Katy. Sam and Terry Schlanger have two sons, Graham and Leighton. Graham is a Senior at Texas A&M University, where he is studying mechanical engineering. Leighton is a 3rd year student at University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where he is studying acting.  Leighton has most notably received the 2008 Tommy Tune Award for Best Featured Performer when he was a Junior in high school. Sam and Terry are proud of their sons’ commitment to the pursuit of excellence. 
 
Sam and his family have two dogs, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named “Rocky,” and a Boxer adopted from Lone Star Boxer Rescue, named “Kisa.” 
 
Sam is a sports enthusiast, and a huge fan of college football. Go Gators! Sam and his family enjoy entertaining at their home, traveling and spending time with family. 
 
Sam’s core values are balance, excellence, service and truth. His family and friends appreciate his honesty and commitment to live out his beliefs.
